The Book Stop needs your old books!
We have recently helped the teachers (especially those new to teaching) enhance their class libraries. This left The Book Stop shelves looking a little slim. What can you do to help? Please donate to The Book Stop any books that are appropriate to K-5th grade reading levels (no preschool-type books, please). We are especially in need of chapter books like Magic Treehouse, Junie B Jones, Wishbone, Captain Underpants, Pokemon and Disney fairies-type books.
If you have other books at home you are willing to donate, please send them in! Your children will receive Book Bucks in exchange for them and can ‘purchase’ new books to take home.
The Book Stop is open from 8:00 – 9:00 am on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. You can donate books at any time by sending them into the office—if you would like Book Bucks in return, just leave a note with your child’s name and teacher on the books and we will deliver the bucks to their teachers.
Help Wanted: The Book Stop is in need of a volunteer starting in March, every Tuesday morning from 8:00 – 9:00 am. It’s easy, fun, and no experience is necessary! Email Kirsten Vaughan if you can help.
