Starting February 15th, students in grades 3 – 5 will set sail for Study Island. Students will log on to Study Island and receive credit for the amount of time spent completing assignments and/or answering questions. The top two students per class with the highest number of Study Island usage minutes and scores over 70% will win 20 minutes of extra computer time, supervised by Mrs. Lewis in our TRACKS lab. This is a great way to start preparing for the End-of-Grade (EOG) Tests and have some fun too. Study Island can be accessed from home or anywhere you have access to the internet. The contest will run from February 15 – 28, 2013. Winners will be announced March 4th on the Morning Announcements.
TRACKS is an acronym that stands for: Technology Reinforcing Academics, Creativity, Knowledge, and Skills.
Please contact Michelle Lewis with any questions. Good luck students!
