Kids Care Club: Thank You cards for our troops

The Kids Care Club will be collecting “Thank You” cards from all CES students and staff this coming Monday and Tuesday morning (4/29 and 4/30) in the front foyer. Our troops work hard to protect us and, in return, we would like to show them some love as well. Please take a moment to have your child simply write “Thank You!” and draw or paint a picture so that we may send them to troops serving in Afghanistan. These pictures are much appreciated by the soldiers who often hang them on their bunks to inspire and motivate them when they are a long way from home. Other suggested wording: “U.S.A.,” “We love you,” “Have a great day.” Also, please include your child’s first name only on the picture.
