Students in grades 3 – 5 will be competing in a new Study Island Contest. The contest runs from May 6 – 19, 2013. The class with the highest number of Study Island usage minutes and scores over 70% will win a surprise field trip arranged by Mr. Stanton and Mrs. Harris. Study Island is web-based and can be used anywhere you have access to the internet (such as the public library). Throughout the year students have been using the Study Island computer program in grades 3 – 5 to familiarize themselves with test preparation questions related to state standards and essential objectives. With the End-of-Grade (EOG) testing quickly approaching, we feel that it is important to give students as many opportunities to practice these skills as possible. The contest will be a fun way for students to continue practicing and help contribute to winning a surprise field trip. Please contact Mrs. Lewis with any questions.
You can access the Study Island site by clicking here. Students already have their login information.
Good luck students!
