The Book Stop needs your old books!

Attention Cougar Parents:

The Book Stop is in desperate need of your old books!

Every year, we augment our school’s used bookstore with books from the county library Annual Booksale. We are already out of almost all of the books from this past library sale; the rest of our books come from donations provided by YOU. This  means that in order for us to keep sending books home with your children, we need more to come back in to the Book Stop.

How can you help?

Look though your children’s bookshelves and pull out anything that is appropriate for K-5 readers that you might be finished with, and send them in with your child on Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday mornings, or leave them with the office any other time. Your children will receive bookbucks in return for their books, and can “purchase” new books at their current reading level.

No baby board books please, but we are especially in need of picture books for kindergartners and 1st graders. Old magazines are welcome as well (National Geographic Kids and Highlights are always popular).

Thank you for your continued support.  Email Kirsten Vaughan with any questions.
