Do you make homemade salsa? How about granola or trail mix? Do you have a favorite healthy after-school snack? Here is your chance to share your favorite healthy recipe, or invent one of your own!
Email your recipe to firstname.lastname@example.org by January 31, 2014. Anything goes, from snacks to meals to desserts. . . . the only rule is that the recipe submitted be a healthy recipe! For example, recipes that include fruits and vegetables, low-fat proteins and dairy, whole grain pastas. . . . be as creative as you like!
The recipes will be evaluated by a small team of parents and teachers. Top recipes will be entered into a taste test and the winning recipes will be announced on WCES!
If we receive enough submissions, the PTA Health and Wellness Committee will compile the recipes for everyone to share, so get your entry ready today!
