Cary Chamber of Commerce Honor a Teacher Award 2016

CaryChamberofCommerceWe are excited to share that once again the Cary Chamber of Commerce will be supporting the Honor a Teacher Award for the western area schools of Wake County. This year Duke Energy will be sponsoring the $1,000 award for a Cary Elementary Teacher. Parents and staff can write letters of nomination for our teachers and send them to the Cary Chamber by Friday, February 26, 2016. Finalists will be interviewed by Duke Energy and Cary Chamber members with the winner being named on May 9 at a celebration at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Please see the attached letter for more details and we hope you are able to find the time to nominate a great Cary Elementary teacher.

CaryChamberofCommerceGarmin International is proud to step forward as a participant in our Honor a Teacher Program, organized by the Cary Chamber of Commerce. We are proud to announce that the Garmin International Excellence in Teaching Award will be awarded this year to an outstanding teacher at Cary Elementary School.

We are asking parents and faculty to nominate teachers for this award. Nominations must be received at the Cary Chamber of Commerce no later than Friday, February 15th. These nominations will then be narrowed to five finalists that will be interviewed by the sponsoring company. We will honor all of the nominees and announce the winner at a celebration at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre at Regency Park on May 13th.
