Thank you to all of our students, parents, and faculty who joined in on National Walk to School Day! With our new bell time, we had an impressive number with over 80 students officially participating!
Our students and faculty gathered at the fountain, enjoying some bonus community-building time prior to the first bell. Students were encouraged to sign-in on the posters, which were later hung in the foyer. Some door prizes were available, like t-shirts and books. And we had local police hang out, offer some walker safety, and lead our parade from the fountain to the front doors.
Students were greeted by some encouraging child-walk art messages, setting the tone for another amazing day here at CES! Thanks again for all who joined in! It was a great day to celebrate our school community as well as support healthy lifestyles.
